Historique
L'église se compose d'une nef séparée des bas-côtés par des piliers circulaires surmontés de chapiteaux. La nef et les bas-côtés romans sont couverts par des voûtes en bois lambrissées du 17e siècle. La façade conserve son portail roman qu'un porche, aujourd'hui détruit, précédait. Cette façade et les façades latérales conservent les traces de baies bouchées et de rives primitives des couvertures, moins élevées que celles actuelles. Le choeur plus récent, du 13e siècle, remplace l'ancien choeur roman qui devait, d'après les traces et moulures visibles au sud, comporter un transept. Ce choeur est surmonté d'un clocher dont la base a été recoupée par un mur pour loger, au 17e siècle, la sacristie. Au nord, s'élève l'ancienne sacristie du 15e siècle. Cette nef marque un jalon bien conservé de l'évolution des basiliques primitives au cours des siècles.

History
The church consists of a nave separated from the aisles by circular pillars surmounted by capitals. The nave and Romanesque aisles are covered by timber barrel vaults boarded on the underside from the 17th century. The façade retains its Romanesque portal which a porch, now destroyed, preceded. This façade and the side façades retain traces of blocked openings and edges of the original roof lines, lower than the present ones. The more recent choir, from the 13th century, replaces the old Romanesque choir which, according to visible traces and mouldings to the south, must have comprised a transept. This choir is surmounted by a bell tower whose base was cut back by a wall to house, in the 17th century, the sacristy. To the north rises the old 15th-century sacristy. This nave marks a well-preserved milestone in the evolution of primitive basilicas over the centuries.
