Historique
La présence d'un moulin est attestée à cet emplacement dès le 13e siècle. Le moulin-tour se compose d'un soubassement en pierre de taille. Les murs construits en moëllons sont étayés par des chaînes de pierre harpées et sont cintrés au milieu par un bandeau de pierre. Des plaques de pierre gravées placées au-dessus de la porte d'entrée, indiquent l'année de construction et le nom du meunier qui a fait édifier le moulin. La toiture du moulin pivote sur des rails, lui permettant ainsi d'être orientée. History
The presence of a mill is attested at this location from the 13th century onwards. The mill tower consists of a base in ashlar stone. The walls constructed in rubble stone are supported by chains of harped stone and are arched in the middle by a stone band. Stone plaques engraved and placed above the entrance door indicate the year of construction and the name of the miller who had the mill built. The mill roof rotates on rails, allowing it to be oriented. Originally, a tail fitted into the dome of the roof and allowed the entire roof to rotate according to the direction of the wind. At the end of the 19th century, installation of a control system to rotate the roof (interior orientation winch). Inside, three levels remain, connected by a staircase.
