Historique
Château à volumes multiples, de style néo-Louis XIII, typique de l'architecture archéologiste du troisième tiers du 19e siècle. Un premier château est mentionné dès le 13e siècle. A la fin du 16e siècle, un second château est édifié. En 1868, le château actuel est réalisé à l'emplacement du précédent après sa démolition, par l'architecte Léon de Sanges. Les caractéristiques essentielles du style Louis XIII s'y retrouvent : murs de briques, chaînes d'angles, entourages de fenêtres harpés en pierre blanche, hauts toits pentus agrémentés de lucarnes et de hautes cheminées. Le parc a été ordonnancé au 18e siècle puis transformé lors de l'édification du château actuel.

History
Castle with multiple volumes, in neo-Louis XIII style, typical of archaeologist architecture of the third third of the 19th century. A first castle is mentioned from the 13th century. At the end of the 16th century, a second castle was built. In 1868, the present castle was constructed at the location of the previous one after its demolition, by architect Léon de Sanges. The essential characteristics of Louis XIII style are found there: brick walls, corner chains, harpoon stone window surrounds in white stone, high sloping roofs adorned with dormers and tall chimneys. The park was laid out in the 18th century and then transformed during the construction of the present castle.
