Bâtie au 17e siècle, la maison fut fortement remaniée au milieu du 18e siècle pour Auguste Denise de la Pacaudière, receveur des tailles. Des réfections furent réalisées au cours de la fin du 19e siècle. Le traitement des façades souligne la distribution intérieure. L'organisation spatiale est tournée vers les espaces privés, cachés de la rue. Le décor témoigne du goût de la bourgeoisie de la seconde moitié du 18e siècle. La salle à manger et les chambres furent ornées de lambris et de peintures sur toile représentant des scènes de genre, de chasse, champêtres ou galantes.

History
Built in the 17th century, the house was heavily altered in the mid 18th century for Auguste Denise de la Pacaudière, tax receiver. Repairs were carried out in the late 19th century.
