Historique
L'église d'Osmery date du milieu du 12e siècle et a conservé sa construction primitive. Au 15e siècle ont été ajoutées deux chapelles latérales donnant sur la croisée du transept. En 1901, la flèche du clocher s'est écroulée. L'édifice se compose d'une nef rectangulaire voûtée en bois, d'un transept, d'un choeur avec abside demi-circulaire et chapelles latérales. La nef a conservé son caractère roman avec son portail occidental à trois rangs de claveaux surmonté d'une corniche. History
The church of Osmery dates from the middle of the 12th century and has preserved its primitive construction. In the 15th century two lateral chapels were added opening onto the crossing of the transept. In 1901, the spire of the bell tower collapsed. The edifice comprises a rectangular nave vaulted in wood, a transept, a choir with semicircular apse and lateral chapels. The nave has preserved its Romanesque character with its west portal of three rows of voussoirs surmounted by a cornice. The crossing is vaulted in dome on pendentives above four double-arch ribs borne by foliage capitals. The choir is vaulted in barrel vault and the apse in half-dome. Flamboyant windows were added in the transept in the 15th century.
