Historique
Le château date du 16e siècle. Il comprenait alors le bâtiment principal rectangulaire et la tourelle d'escalier qui flanque la façade sud. Il est possible que les deux tours situées aux angles nord-est et nord-ouest soient plus anciennes. History
The castle dates from the 16th century. It then comprised the rectangular main building and the staircase turret which flanks the south facade. It is possible that the two towers situated at the north-east and north-west angles are older. The outbuildings, including the dovecot and the mill of the 17th century, date from the period when the chapter of Saint-Etienne of Bourges, owner of the castle from 1687 to 1789, transformed it into an agricultural holding. In the 18th century a low wing was built, returning towards the south. In the 19th century, construction of a pavilion to the east of the tower flanking the north-east angle of the main building, pavilion built in the Renaissance style. At the same time, in the facade on the courtyard of the 18th century wing, a door was pierced topped with a dormer, each pasticheing the style of the 16th century.
