Historique
Le prieuré existait dès 1154 et dépendait de l'abbaye d'Issoudun puis des chanoines de Saint-Laurent de l'Artige, dans le diocèse de Limoges. Il fut réuni au collège des Jésuites de Limoges en 1686, en même temps que le prieuré de l'Artige. La voûte de l'abside conserve des traces de peintures avec ornements losangés. L'ancien cloître a disparu.

History
The priory existed from 1154 and was dependent on the abbey of Issoudun then on the canons of Saint-Laurent de l'Artige, in the diocese of Limoges. It was united with the college of Jesuits of Limoges in 1686, at the same time as the priory of Artige. The vault of the apse retains traces of paintings with lozenge ornaments. The old cloister has disappeared.
