Ville neuve d'Henrichemont, élevée pour Sully dans sa principauté indépendante de Boisbelle en l'honneur d'Henri IV, à partir de 1608. History
New town of Henrichemont, erected for Sully in his independent principality of Boisbelle in honour of Henri IV, from 1608 onwards. The regular urban plan was probably established by the king's topographical engineer, Claude Chastillon. The design of the houses was requested by Sully from the architect Salomon de Brosse, who was entrusted with the general direction of the works. The project was abandoned shortly after its implementation. The house known as the Fiscal Prosecutor's house is the only one of the pavilions that bordered the four main streets joining the middle of the sides of the Grand Place to the middle of the sides of the fortification, to have preserved elements of decoration.
