Historique
L'église construite au 12e siècle, est mentionnée en 1224 dans un acte de l'archevêque de Bourges. La chapelle seigneuriale, appuyée sur le choeur côté sud, a été construite vers 1470 par un membre de la famille de Bar. Elle fut incendiée au 16e siècle par les Protestants et subit quelques restaurations. Abside demi-circulaire voûtée en quart de sphère. Le choeur et le transept sont voûtés en berceau. La coupole à la croisée du transept est sur trompe. Les arcades de la croisée sont en plein cintre. Sur la croisée, un clocher en maçonnerie du 13e siècle, percé de baies, se termine par une toiture en pyramide aigüe que couronne un coq en cuivre du 16e siècle.

History
The church built in the 12th century, is mentioned in 1224 in an act of the archbishop of Bourges. The seigneurial chapel, leaning on the choir on the south side, was built around 1470 by a member of the family of Bar. It was burned in the 16th century by the Protestants and underwent some restorations. Semi-circular apse barrel-vaulted in a quarter-sphere. The choir and transept are barrel-vaulted. The dome at the crossing of the transept is on squinch. The arcades of the crossing are round arch. Over the crossing, a bell tower of stone masonry of the 13th century, pierced with openings, ends with an acute pyramid roof crowned by a copper weathercock of the 16th century.
