Historique
Une bulle du pape Adrien IV, datée de 1154, semble désigner un prieuré de l'abbaye de Notre-Dame d'Issoudun. Ce prieuré fut confié à un collège de chanoines qui, en 1454, était réuni à celui de Saint-Cyr d'Issoudun. L'église se compose actuellement d'une nef et d'un choeur plus étroit, terminé par un sanctuaire sur plan demi-circulaire. La nef et le choeur sont couverts par une charpente apparente qui date du 16e siècle. Le sanctuaire a conservé sa voûte en plein cintre et le cul de four. L'ensemble de l'édifice appartient au 12e siècle mais il a subi des interventions au fil des siècles. Les vestiges de piles qui subsistent du côté nord et l'amorce de l'absidiole à la suite, laissent supposer que le choeur comportait, latéralement, un développement de bas-côtés et de transepts. Du côté sud, ces vestiges ont disparu pour faire place à un clocher du 15e siècle.

History
A bull from Pope Adrian IV, dated 1154, seems to designate a priory of the abbey of Notre-Dame d'Issoudun. This priory was entrusted to a college of canons which, in 1454, was united to that of Saint-Cyr d'Issoudun. The church currently comprises a nave and a narrower chevet, terminated by a sanctuary on a semi-circular plan. The nave and chevet are covered by exposed roof structure which dates from the 16th century. The sanctuary has preserved its round arch vault and its cul-de-four. The entire building belongs to the 12th century but it has undergone interventions over the centuries. The remnants of piers which subsist on the north side and the start of the absidiole following, suggest that the chevet comprised, laterally, a development of aisles and transepts. On the south side, these remnants have disappeared to make way for a bell tower of the 15th century.
