Historique
Cette maison porte un écu aux armes de Perrot, seigneur de Chambetin. On lit : Maître Jehan de Chambetin. De 1806 à 1904, elle a abrité le couvent des bénédictines de Saint-Laurent et un pensionnat de jeunes filles. De 1904 à 1905 s'y trouvait un collège de jeunes filles. Le rez-de-chaussée s'ouvre par une porte du 15e siècle avec jambages terminés par pinacles et crochets. Une arcature en ogive ornée de crochets et terminée par un fleuron contient un tympan dans lequel se trouvent deux anges qui soutiennent un écu orné de trois trèfles tigés et trois perroquets. Trois fenêtres ont conservé leurs moulures.

History
This house bears a shield with the arms of Perrot, lord of Chambetin. One reads: Master Jehan de Chambetin. From 1806 to 1904, it housed the convent of the Benedictine nuns of Saint-Laurent and a boarding school for girls. From 1904 to 1905 there was located a college for girls. The ground floor opens through a door of the 15th century with jambs terminated by pinnacles and crockets. An ogival arcading decorated with crockets and terminated by a finial contains a tympanum in which are found two angels which support a shield decorated with three trefoils with stems and three parrots. Three windows have retained their mouldings.
