History
This building was probably constructed after the fire of 1487. The shop was lit on two streets. It did not possess a corridor access to the courtyard and the staircase started directly from the square. The treasury room was backed against the party wall, barrel vaulted and communicated with the room on the ground floor. The stone spiral staircase serves the upper storeys. Formerly, it served the cellar. It ends in a dovecot occupying the roof space of the turret. Timber framing must have existed on the façade, under the slate cladding and returning onto the square.
