History
The primitive construction dates to the middle of the 12th century and underwent reworking during the modern period. The primitive vaults of the nave were replaced by vaults and double arches in plaster. The exterior buttresses were suppressed. The wall surfaces and windows were remade or disfigured. The two storeys of the bell tower, inspired perhaps in their general form by ancient arrangements, are likewise a modern work.
