La ferme de Bellerive dépendait, au 18e siècle, du château de Piquecos et la légende veut qu'il y ait eu à l'intérieur du pigeonnier autant de niches que d'hectares dépendant du château. History
The farm of Bellerive depended, in the 18th century, on the château of Piquecos and legend has it that there were inside the dovecote as many niches as hectares dependent on the château. The dovecote is in the centre of the farm. The four brick arcades were closed following successive floods of the Aveyron. Access to the first floor is by ladder. Along the walls are installed cells where the pigeons nested, sorts of terracotta plaques of which one corner hollowed out allowed passage to the bird. A perforation formed of four rectangles of wood pierced with holes ensures the connection of the roof and the lantern.
