A l'arrière se voit un vestige de décor architectural. Le bas-relief est très faible et le travail un peu grossier rappelle celui de certains sarcophages antiques de basse époque. Identification erronée d'un chapiteau médiéval, déposé et donné depuis plus de 30 ans au musée communal (il a depuis disparu des collections).

History
The fragment of marble bas-relief represents a youthful head seen frontally whose hair, in wavy locks clearly separated, suggest a solar divinity.
