Historique
Pigeonnier en brique, situé en avant de l'ancienne abbaye. De plan carré, il est surmonté d'un clocheton central. La partie inférieure est couverte par une voûte d'arête en brique. L'accès sur chaque face se fait par deux ouvertures en plein cintre, sans fermeture. L'abbaye fut fondée au 12e siècle et rattachée à l'ordre de Cîteaux. Ruinée au cours des guerres de Religion, elle fut reconstruite au début du 18e siècle. En 1790, elle fut vendue comme bien national. Utilisée comme carrière, elle fut définitivement détruite par un incendie à la fin du 19e siècle.

History
Dovecote in brick, situated in front of the former abbey. Of square plan, it is surmounted by a central bell tower. The lower part is covered by a brick groin vault. Access on each face is by two round-arch openings, without closing. The abbey was founded in the 12th century and attached to the order of Cîteaux. Ruined during the Wars of Religion, it was reconstructed at the beginning of the 18th century. In 1790, it was sold as a national property. Used as a quarry, it was definitively destroyed by fire at the end of the 19th century.
