History
The market hall is situated in the centre of the triangular square surrounded by houses whose ground floor forms a covered gallery, locally called "Enbans". Of circular plan, the hall comprises two parts. An exterior portico supported by twenty Doric columns with swollen shafts. A central core pierced by eight arcades on which rises a lantern lit by four windows. In this central part, on a floor raised by a few steps, are the old stone measures. The sworn experts and the official in charge of market police were to stand there.
