La façade du château est flanquée de deux tours en saillie avec meurtrières. Elle possède une herse et un mâchicoulis et est percée de fenêtres en pierre sculptée et surmontées d'un fronton. A l'intérieur se trouve une cour rectangulaire sur laquelle prennent jour de larges ouvertures en croix. L'arrière du château est également flanqué de deux tours dont l'une servait, d'après la tradition, de cachot et possède des oubliettes. Les hauteurs du château étaient pourvues d'une suite de consoles supportant des hourds de pierre pour battre le pied des murs. Ces consoles ont presque toutes été déplacées et supportent aujourd'hui la toiture.

History
The castle facade is flanked by two projecting towers with loopholes. It has a portcullis and machicolations and is pierced by windows in sculptured stone and surmounted by a pediment. Inside is a rectangular courtyard on which open large cross-windows. The rear of the castle is also flanked by two towers, one of which served, according to tradition, as a dungeon and has oubliettes. The heights of the castle were provided with a series of corbels supporting stone hoards for striking the foot of the walls. These corbels have almost all been removed and now support the roof.
