Historique
La sacristie ornée de fresques est située sur le flanc sud de l'église. De plan carré, elle remonte au 15e siècle d'après la mouluration des nervures de la croisée d'ogives. Les compartiments de cette voûte sont recouverts de fresques qui rappellent celles de la cathédrale d'Albi. Le décor consiste en rinceaux qui se détachent sur un fond très sombre et d'où se dressent, à mi-corps, des anges ou des amours musiciens (deux par compartiment). Ces peintures du 16e siècle sont le seul vestige des fresques qui recouvraient encore les murs et la charpente lambrissée de l'église à la fin du 19e siècle. Les murs ont été recouverts d'un badigeon et la charpente remplacée par une voûte néo-gothique.

History
The sacristy decorated with frescoes is located on the south side of the church. Of square plan, it dates back to the 15th century according to the moulding of the ribs of the rib vault. The compartments of this vault are covered with frescoes which recall those of the cathedral of Albi. The decoration consists of scrollwork which stands out against a very dark background and from which arise, at half-length, angels or musical cupids (two per compartment). These paintings of the 16th century are the sole remaining vestige of the frescoes which still covered the walls and the lambrissed roof structure of the church at the end of the 19th century. The walls were covered with whitewash and the roof structure replaced by a neo-Gothic vault.
