L'église dépendait dans la collégiale Saint-Salvy d'Albi. Elle était le siège d'un prieuré qui fut uni à la mense des chanoines en 1718. Les quatre travées inégales de la nef sont prolongées, à l'est, par un chevet pentagonal, et sont bordées de sept chapelles (suite à l'épidémie de peste de 1628). L'entrée s'effectue par un portail sous porche, composé de trois rouleaux en arc brisé et orné de sculptures érodées. De même largeur que la nef, le sanctuaire a été entouré, à une époque récente, de sacristies qui l'englobent complètement. Tandis que les peintures murales de la nef ont été refaites, celles du sanctuaire ont été conservées et restent visibles en partie haute. La composition est consacrée aux sept sacrements, incarnés par des personnages aîlés portant des phylactères à inscriptions gothiques. L'eucharistie, sacrement le plus important, a été représentée deux fois. Le clocher offre un aspect massif et fortifié. Il n'est ancien que dans sa partie inférieure, le tiers supérieur ayant été entièrement repris au 19e siècle.

History
The church was dependent on the collegiate church of Saint-Salvy in Albi. It was the seat of a priory which was united to the prebends of the canons in 1718. The four unequal bays of the nave are extended, to the east, by a pentagonal chevet, and are bordered by seven chapels (following the plague epidemic of 1628). Entry is made through a portal under a porch, composed of three pointed arches and decorated with eroded sculptures. Of the same width as the nave, the sanctuary was surrounded, in a recent period, by sacristies which enclose it completely. While the mural paintings of the nave have been redone, those of the sanctuary have been preserved and remain partly visible in the upper section. The composition is devoted to the seven sacraments, embodied by winged figures bearing phylacteries with Gothic inscriptions. The Eucharist, the most important sacrament, has been represented twice. The bell tower presents a massive and fortified appearance. It is old only in its lower part, the upper third having been entirely rebuilt in the 19th century.
