Pigeonnier construit sur pilier selon une prérogative qui, dans le Midi, reste seigneuriale. Isolé, il est situé à quelque distance du château auquel il se rattache. L'ouvrage se compose d'un volume cubique en maçonnerie de briques reposant sur quatre piliers de pierre ornés, en partie haute, d'une collerette et d'un chapiteau carré aux angles bas abattus. L'ensemble est surmonté d'un toit pyramidal couvert de tuiles plates et coiffé, sur la pointe, d'une quille à boules. Il est percé d'une lucarne au sud. Deux ouvertures d'accès avec rebord pour les pigeons sont aménagées au-dessus du bandeau médian des faces sud et est. Un passage latéral accessible par une échelle ou un escalier de bois est prévu dans le pigeonnier. Les quatre faces intérieures sont tapissées de 492 boulins en demi-lunes, aménagés dans la maçonnerie et précédés d'une plateforme d'accès continue.

History
Dovecote constructed on a pillar according to a prerogative which in the Midi remains seigneurial. Isolated, it is situated at some distance from the castle to which it is attached. The structure comprises a cubic volume in brick masonry resting on four stone pillars decorated, in the upper part, with a collar and a square capital with angles cut back at the bottom. The whole is surmounted by a pyramidal roof covered with flat tiles and crowned, on the point, with a finial with spheres. It is pierced by a dormer to the south. Two access openings with a ledge for the pigeons are arranged above the median band of the south and east faces. A side passage accessible by a wooden ladder or staircase is provided in the dovecote. The four interior faces are lined with 492 pigeon holes in half-moons, arranged in the masonry and preceded by a continuous access platform.
