History
Carriage gate opened in an old rampart, vaulted with a pointed arch, followed by a lower vault giving access to a transverse street. A groove in the vault marks the passage of a portcullis. The vault is, moreover, pierced by a square opening that could serve as machicolations in front of the portcullis. Traces of two escutcheons.
