La porte d'enceinte, qui est le seul vestige relativement complet des anciennes fortifications, est pratiquée dans une tour rectangulaire construite en briques et galets. History
The enclosure gate, which is the only relatively complete vestige of the old fortifications, is made through a rectangular tower built in bricks and pebbles. It consists of stone jambs and is closed by a round arch. The ground floor passage is covered with a barrel vault and has two machicolations which allowed the fossae to be defended. The whole appears to be from the end of the 14th century, the period of foundation of the bastide. Its roof does not correspond to the primitive style.
