Historique

History
The church consists of a single nave vaulted in stone in broken barrel vault on ribs of rectangular profile, terminated to the east by a chevet vaulted in cul de four and to the west by a flat wall to which is attached a wooden gallery. Externally, rectangular buttresses articulate the walls of which the original piercing has been transformed. On the south façade opens a round arch portal with triple roll of square section and are joined a rectangular bell tower as well as a sacristy. The interior is painted. The choir is decorated, besides the draperies in trompe l'oeil painted around the perimeter, by a retable painted and gilded in the spirit of the 18th century. Except for the sacristy and the bell tower, the whole exhibits the forms of Romanesque architecture. One may suppose that, in the primitive edifice, the covering of the nave overhung that of the choir whose upper parts may have been remade during the raising with reuse of earlier elements.
