This building presents archaeological characteristics essential for understanding all the buildings in the Campan valley and can consequently serve as a reference element. Its architectural arrangements, notably exterior ones, are interesting, particularly the south entrance portal in red and green Campan marble stonework (1775). This is the parish church of the village that was the centre of the workshops of sculptural joiners who decorated most of the churches in the Upper Pyrenees from the middle of the 17th century to the beginning of the 19th. The furnishings here were created by Jean II Ferrère, after the fire of 1754.
