Historique
Commencée en 1775 à l'emplacement d'un édifice antérieur, la construction fut interrompue en 1789. Le château est compris entre une cour, au nord, et les jardins au sud. Il comprend un rez-de-chaussée, établi sur un terre-plein à l'ouest, et sur un sous-sol voûté à l'est. Les façades sont de style classique 18e. Un entablement les couronne. A l'intérieur, le salon carré présente une ordonnance ionique, et devait, à l'origine, être couvert d'une voussure ou d'une voûte. Les pièces ont des cheminées en marbre Louis XV, surmontées de trumeaux à décor de plâtre mouluré et sculpté. Deux tours de l'ancien château médiéval subsistent aux angles nord-est et nord-ouest de la cour. Des constructions annexes leur ont été accolées.

History
Begun in 1775 on the site of an earlier building, construction was interrupted in 1789. The castle is comprised between a courtyard to the north and gardens to the south. It comprises a ground floor, established on a raised ground level to the west, and on a vaulted basement to the east. The façades are of 18th century classical style. An entablature crowns them. Inside, the square drawing room presents an Ionic order, and was originally to be covered with a vault or a rib vault. The rooms have Louis XV marble fireplaces, surmounted by piers with decoration of moulded and sculptured plaster. Two towers of the old medieval castle remain at the north-east and north-west corners of the courtyard. Ancillary buildings have been attached to them.
