Historique
Hormis quelques modifications peu importantes, cette maison a conservé les dispositions essentielles de son aménagement primitif. Elle comprend, au rez-de-chaussée, une pièce principale, sorte de vestibule, largement éclairée par deux baies en tiers-point. Entre ces deux baies s'ouvre la porte d'entrée surmontée d'une imposte, les piédroits sont moulurés et les linteaux en accolade. A gauche de cette salle s'en trouve une autre qui devait servir d'écurie. Dans la pièce principale, un double escalier droit donne accès à un escalier à vis Saint-Gilles qui dessert les étages et le comble. De la cour intérieure, située à mi-étage, se fait l'accès à la cuisine et au cellier, en partie creusé dans le rocher. Au premier étage se trouvent une grande salle communiquant avec la cuisine et, à mi étage, deux chambres. Le deuxième étage est divisé en chambres à coucher ainsi que l'étage des combles. Cette maison était peut-être une hôtellerie pour pélerins.

History
Apart from a few unimportant alterations, this house has preserved the essential dispositions of its original arrangement. It comprises, on the ground floor, a main room, a sort of vestibule, broadly lit by two pointed-arch openings. Between these two openings opens the entrance door surmounted by a lintel, the jambs are moulded and the lintels in ogee. To the left of this room is another which must have served as a stable. In the main room, a double straight staircase gives access to a Saint-Gilles spiral staircase which serves the storeys and the roof space. From the interior courtyard, situated at mid-level, access is made to the kitchen and the cellar, partly excavated in the rock. On the first storey are a large room communicating with the kitchen and, at mid-level, two bedrooms. The second storey is divided into bedrooms as is the roof-space storey. This house was perhaps an inn for pilgrims.
