Historique
A l'origine, la chapelle, entourée de son cimetière, était une dépendance du château et devait ouvrir directement dans la cour du manoir. Cette chapelle a dû remplacer une construction du 10e siècle, et a été bâtie par un évêque de Tulle. L'édifice se compose de deux parties bien distinctes, avec l'ancienne chapelle flamboyante du 15e - 16e siècle, et une nef moderne datant de 1881, réalisée par Toulouse, transperçant de part en part la construction plus ancienne, entre le porche et le choeur, la transformant en transept. La première travée de l'ancienne chapelle sert de porche et est surmontée d'un clocher carré à trois étages. Le porche est voûté sur croisée d'ogives sexpartite. L'ancien choeur est, extérieurement, de forme pentagonale. A l'intérieur, les chapiteaux sont ornés de scènes historiées (Péché originel...) , d'animaux et de rinceaux de feuillages.

History
Originally, the chapel, surrounded by its cemetery, was a dependency of the castle and was meant to open directly into the courtyard of the manor. This chapel must have replaced a 10th century building, and was built by a bishop of Tulle. The building comprises two distinct parts, with the old Flamboyant chapel of the 15th-16th century, and a modern nave dating from 1881, constructed by Toulouse, piercing right through the older building, between the porch and the choir, transforming it into a transept. The first bay of the old chapel serves as a porch and is surmounted by a square bell tower of three storeys. The porch is vaulted on a sexpartite rib vault. The old choir is, externally, of pentagonal form. Inside, the capitals are ornamented with historical scenes (Original Sin...), animals and foliage rinceaux.
