Monastère fondé vers 1334-1335 par le cardinal Gaucelme de Jean. Fondation d'un monastère de dominicains dans le couvent des Junies en 1355 (église Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens des 14e et 15e siècles, salle capitulaire du 14e siècle). Vendu comme bien national à la Révolution, le couvent fut démoli. Il n'en reste que la salle capitulaire mutilée, et l'église abbatiale devenue paroissiale en 1801.

History
Monastery founded around 1334-1335 by Cardinal Gaucelme de Jean. Foundation of a monastery of Dominicans in the convent of the Junies in 1355 (church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens of the 14th and 15th centuries, chapter house of the 14th century). Sold as national property at the Revolution, the convent was demolished. There remain only the mutilated chapter house, and the abbatial church which became parochial in 1801.
