History
This church is said to have been built on the remains of a mosque erected probably during the Saracen invasion. It is a building of the 13th century, of rural Romanesque type, comprising a simple nave and a rectangular apse. The church is decorated with distemper wall paintings dating from the early 16th century, representing among other things the kiss of Judas, the arrest of Christ and the seven deadly sins.
