Historique
Edifice de style roman, construit en grès, composé d'une seule nef et d'une abside semi-circulaire. L'abside est voûtée en cul de four. Les chapiteaux des six premières colonnes du côté de l'abside sont décorés de sculptures. A l'origine, la couverture de la nef était moins élevée comme en témoignent les corbeaux visibles sur la façade sud. La surélévation dont les murs ont été l'objet semble avoir eu pour but de remonter l'entrait des fermes qui, primitivement, devait reposer sur les voûtes et de charger davantage les murs en vue de neutraliser la poussée des voûtes. A la suite de cette surélévation, le clocher a dû être exhaussé à son tour.

History
Building of Romanesque style, built in sandstone, composed of a single nave and a semi-circular apse. The apse is vaulted with a barrel vault. The capitals of the first six columns on the side of the apse are decorated with sculptures. Originally, the covering of the nave was less high as evidenced by the corbels visible on the south façade. The raising which the walls underwent appears to have been intended to raise the tie-beam of the roof trusses which, originally, were meant to rest on the vaults and to load the walls further with a view to neutralizing the thrust of the vaults. Following this raising, the bell tower had to be heightened in turn.
