Historique
La crypte abrite le tombeau de Saint-Namphaise. Lors de la reconstruction de l'église, fin 19e début 20e siècle, le double escalier qui y conduisait a été condamné et y fut adossé latéralement un escalier à vis qui débouche par une porte percée au sud. Le choeur de la nouvelle église est bâti sur la crypte. Les murs de celle-ci sont en petits moellons assisés. A l'intérieur, il semble que rien n'a été modifié à l'état primitif : l'autel est placé en avant du sarcophage que supportent deux colonnettes et deux petits pilastres formant piédroits d'une armoire ménagée dans l'épaisseur du mur. Les voûtes de l'abside présentent des doubleaux non liés à la clef. Les nervures ne se rencontrent pas à angle droit et, pour éviter le glissement, une nervure médiane a été établie, venant retomber sur le tailloir de la première colonne.

History
The crypt houses the tomb of Saint-Namphaise. During the rebuilding of the church, late 19th early 20th century, the double staircase leading to it was blocked and a spiral staircase was leant against it laterally which opens through a door pierced to the south. The choir of the new church is built on the crypt. The walls of it are in small coursed rubble stone. Inside, it seems that nothing has been modified to the primitive state: the altar is placed in front of the sarcophagus which is supported by two small columns and two small pilasters forming the jambs of a cupboard fitted in the thickness of the wall. The vaults of the apse present ribs not linked to the keystone. The ribs do not meet at right angles and, to avoid slipping, a median rib has been established, coming to rest on the abacus of the first column.
