Nothing is known about the date of construction of this small castle (perhaps of the 16th century). It is only known that it belonged in 1628 to Bernard Brunet, consul of Vic-Fézensac. In the 18th century, a Breton gentleman gave it his name of Cruzalet. During the course of the 19th century, conversion into agricultural operation. In 1840, a dwelling house was constructed at the location of the west wing. It is a building entirely representative of this type of Gersois residences, remarkable for its defensive character and for the quality and homogeneity of its decoration (fireplaces), as well as for the angled disposition of the staircase tower (circular tower containing a spiral staircase).
