En 1272, construction du château. Au 16e siècle, des transformations sont opérées sur le bâtiment, en particulier sur le donjon. De 1768 à 1773, de nouvelles constructions furent entreprises et des ailes s'ordonnèrent autour de deux cours ouvrant sur les jardins et la campagne. Au 19e siècle, des aménagements touchèrent surtout le décor intérieur. L'extrémité de l'éperon rocheux conserve les restes du château primitif (porte ménagée dans les remparts). Au sud se trouve l'ancien donjon aménagé au 16e siècle. Entre ces deux massifs ont été érigés, au 18e siècle, les bâtiments délimitant deux cours. Un perron de quatre marches mène à une porte encadrée de bossages à refends. Au nord, entre les remparts et le château, se trouvent les communs en hémicycle, datés de 1690. L'accès s'y fait par un porche à ébrasement extérieur flanqué de pilastres, au-dessus duquel est ménagé un passage permettant l'accès aux communs depuis le château.

History
In 1272, construction of the castle. In the 16th century, alterations were made to the building, particularly to the keep. From 1768 to 1773, new constructions were undertaken and wings were arranged around two courtyards opening onto gardens and countryside. In the 19th century, alterations mainly affected the interior decoration. The extremity of the rocky spur preserves the remains of the primitive castle (gateway in the ramparts). To the south is found the old keep remodelled in the 16th century. Between these two masses were erected, in the 18th century, the buildings delimiting two courtyards. A flight of four steps leads to a gateway framed by bosses with recessed joints. To the north, between the ramparts and the castle, are found the outbuildings in hemicycle, dated to 1690. Access to them is by a porch with external splay flanked by pilasters, above which is provided a passage allowing access to the outbuildings from the castle.
