Historique
Le château dépendait du comté d'Armagnac et appartenait à ses vasseaux, les seigneurs de Termes d'Armagnac. L'un d'eux combatit aux côtés de Jeanne d'Arc. Les vestiges comprennent un donjon carré auquel est accolée une tour rectangulaire. Donjon constitué par quatre murs de deux mètres d'épaisseur, avec trois étages de salles voûtées en berceau brisé. Chaque salle est éclairée par des fenêtres à meneaux, et garnie d'une cheminée. Les étages sont desservis par un escalier sur plan circulaire, en pierre. Latrines et galeries de communication. History
The château was dependent on the county of Armagnac and belonged to its vassals, the lords of Termes d'Armagnac. One of them fought alongside Jeanne d'Arc. The remains comprise a square keep to which is attached a rectangular tower. Keep constituted by four walls two metres thick, with three storeys of rooms vaulted with broken barrel vault. Each room is lit by windows with mullions, and furnished with a fireplace. The storeys are served by a staircase on a circular plan, in stone. Latrines and communication galleries. The top of the tower is terminated by a roof structure. To the south is a lower body of building, not vaulted. At the base of this building, two large arches have been walled in. To the east, a large wall extending one of the faces of the keep is the remains of a main dwelling. The surroundings preserve traces of other buildings.
