Historique
Manoir construit par le poête Guillaume de Saluste du Bartas, émule de Ronsard, en 1569. Les bâtiments d'exploitation entourent une cour carrée. Face à l'entrée de la cour se trouve l'habitation du maître de la gentilhommière. Cette dernière présente un plan rectangulaire à deux étages. A l'est, une tour ronde s'accole à chaque angle. Quelques fenêtres à meneaux de pierre subsistent encore du côté nord. L'accès aux deux étages se fait par un escalier de pierre en vis, construit dans une tour à pans coupés, faisant saillie sur la façade. Au sommet, elle s'entoure d'une couronne de mâchicoulis.

History
Manor constructed by the poet Guillaume de Saluste du Bartas, emulator of Ronsard, in 1569. The farm buildings surround a square courtyard. Facing the entrance of the courtyard is found the dwelling of the master of the manor. The latter presents a rectangular plan with two storeys. To the east, a round tower adjoins each angle. A few stone-mullioned windows still remain on the north side. Access to the two storeys is by a stone spiral staircase, constructed in a cut-corner tower, projecting on the facade. At the top, it is surrounded by a crown of machicolations.
