The site preserves a remarkable ensemble of mosaics dated to the Late Empire. Discovered by chance in 1864, the villa was the subject of initial soundings in 1867, bringing to light mosaics of very high quality. This site reveals a long occupation in the late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages.
