Edifice de plan carré, dont le noyau central, portant l'escalier à vis, est situé exactement à l'intersection des diagonales. Rez-de-chaussée ouvert par des arcades. L'étage est porté par des arcs plein cintre. Tout autour, gênoise à triple bande. L'étage ne présente pas de boulins. Les nids devaient être en osier ou terre cuite, et s'accrocher aux poutres du colombage. L'escalier s'ouvre à environ un mètre du niveau actuel du sol. C'est un escalier de pierre à vis pris dans un noyau de section carrée.

History
Building of square plan, whose central core, carrying the spiral stair, is situated exactly at the intersection of the diagonals. Ground floor opened by arcades. The storey is carried by round arches. All around, triple-band dentil moulding. The storey does not present putlog holes. The nests were to be in wicker or terracotta, and hook onto the beams of the timber framing. The staircase opens approximately one metre from the current ground level. It is a spiral stone staircase enclosed in a core of square section.
