La tour, édifiée à mi pente d'un vallon sur la route d'Agen, est actuellement englobée dans les bâtiments d'une ferme attenante à une maison de maître datant du début du 19e siècle. Elle est dominée par la tour de l'escalier qui fut transformée par la suite en pigeonnier. Elle fait partie du réseau de forteresses édifiées aux 13e et 14e siècles dans cette région de Gascogne, rattachée en partie au royaume des Plantagenêts. La couverture et les planchers n'existent plus.

History
The tower, built mid-slope of a small valley on the road to Agen, is currently incorporated into the buildings of a farm adjacent to a master's house dating from the early 19th century. It is dominated by the staircase tower which was subsequently converted into a dovecote. It is part of the network of fortresses built in the 13th and 14th centuries in this region of Gascony, partly attached to the kingdom of the Plantagenets. The roof and floors no longer exist.
