Historique

History
Château built from 1525 to 1535, composed of a main building between two wings, of which the right wing was remade in 1658 following a fire. Four towers form the angles. The entrance door and the drawbridge no longer exist, but there remain the two turrets which flanked this door, and contain the spiral staircases. Above the entrance door, there is a passage gallery for the wing. Behind the entrance door, a great staircase occupies the width of the building, with brick vaults resting on brackets decorated with sculptures, Ionic or Corinthian capitals with truncated shaft. Inside, painted decoration, woodwork of the 18th century. Stables complete the château. A long barrel-vaulted hall is cut in its middle by the passage of the entrance. This hall is terminated, at each end, by a rectangular pavilion. These pavilions were adorned with false machicolations and crenellations in 1830.
