Les dispositions des maisons médiévales se poursuivent à la Renaissance, avec un corps de logis sur rue séparé d'un autre sur cour intérieure. Celles de l'hôtel édifié par Guillaume de la Mammye, conseiller au Parlement de 1528 à 1566, se développent en deux superpositions d'arcades resserrées entre une tourelle d'escalier et un corps de logis moderne. Ces galeries sont en pierre, ornées de sculptures dont plusieurs détails sont caractéristiques du règne de François Ier. History
The layouts of medieval houses continue into the Renaissance, with a main dwelling on the street separated from another on the inner courtyard. Covered passages united the two buildings, gradually becoming galleries. Those of the hôtel built by Guillaume de la Mammye, counsellor to the Parliament from 1528 to 1566, develop in two tiers of arcades compressed between a staircase turret and a modern main dwelling. These galleries are of stone, ornamented with sculptures of which several details are characteristic of the reign of Francis I. The pilasters which separate the arcades superimpose the three orders: Doric, Ionic and Corinthian.
