Historique
Hôtel du 15e siècle, acquis en 1535 par Jehan de Cheverry, commerçant de pastel puis capitoul. Cheverry transforma l'ancien logis en y ajoutant deux corps de bâtiment. L'un d'eux présente, sur un ancien jardin, un promenoir à arceaux. Au-dessus, quatre fenêtres à double étage s'encadrent de colonnes et de pilastres, marquant pour la première fois le retour direct aux ordres antiques. Trois colonnettes d'ordre dorique supportent le croisillon qui devient architrave. Trois pilastres cannelés se dressent entre le croisillon et le linteau qui devient entablement. La fenêtre face à l'entrée de la cour présente trois cariatides à peine dégagées. Au-dessus, les pilastres sont couverts d'arabesques.

History
Hotel of the 15th century, acquired in 1535 by Jehan de Cheverry, pastel merchant then capitoul. Cheverry transformed the old main dwelling by adding two building blocks to it. One of them presents, over an old garden, a gallery with arcades. Above, four windows with double storeys are framed with columns and pilasters, marking for the first time the direct return to antique orders. Three columnettes of Doric order support the crosspiece which becomes architrave. Three fluted pilasters rise between the crosspiece and the lintel which becomes entablature. The window facing the courtyard entrance presents three caryatids barely emerged. Above, the pilasters are covered with arabesques.
