Collège religieux fondé en 1457 par le cardinal Pierre de Foix, légat pontifical. Il accueillait 25 étudiants juristes, canonistes et théologiens. Supprimé en 1790, ses bâtiments sont acquis en 1817 pour établir la congrégation des soeurs de Notre-Dame de la Compassion. La distribution des bâtiments s'organise autour d'une cour rectangulaire. Les éléments sur cour du donjon servaient de pièces de service ; l'étage correspondait à la bibliothèque ; le deuxième étage comprenait l'appartement du prélat.

History
Religious college founded in 1457 by Cardinal Pierre de Foix, papal legate. It accommodated 25 students of law, canon law and theology. Closed in 1790, its buildings were acquired in 1817 to establish the congregation of the sisters of Notre-Dame de la Compassion. The layout of the buildings is organized around a rectangular courtyard. The elements facing the courtyard of the keep served as service rooms; the upper floor was the library; the second floor comprised the prelate's apartment.
