Historique
Oeuvre de Nicolas Bachelier, construit à partir de 1545 pour Michel du Faur, juge-mage de Toulouse. De Bachelier ne subsiste que le pavillon d'entrée sur la façade duquel apparaissent six fenêtres et l'ordonnance de trois étages. L'accès de la façade Est se fait par une porte cintrée avec assises et voussures verniculées, surmontée d'une corniche servant d'appui à une fenêtre encadrée de crossettes et accostée de deux colonnes corinthiennes. Au-dessus, fenêtre avec colonnette centrale tenant lieu de meneau, l'ensemble étant encadré de deux colonnes composites à l'aplomb des colonnes inférieures, et de colonnes à feuillages renversées. Un attique et un fronton curviligne couronnent l'ordonnance pyramidale. La façade ouest est percée d'une porte donnant sur le verger qui a remplacé le château. Le large cintre s'orne de feuilles lancéolées et s'appuie sur deux pilastres accouplés. Au-dessus, cartouche autour duquel se suivent rosaces, oves et triglyphes. A l'intérieur, cheminées Renaissance.

History
Work of Nicolas Bachelier, built from 1545 for Michel du Faur, juge-mage of Toulouse. Of Bachelier only the entrance pavilion on whose façade appear six windows and the arrangement of three storeys survives. Access to the East façade is by a round arch door with ashlar courses and vermiculated voussoirs, surmounted by a cornice serving as support for a window framed by crossettes and flanked by two Corinthian columns. Above, a window with central colonnette serving as mullion, the whole framed by two composite columns aligned with the lower columns, and by columns with reversed foliage. An attic and a curvilinear pediment crown the pyramidal arrangement. The west façade is pierced by a door opening onto the orchard which replaced the château. The wide arch is decorated with lanceolate leaves and rests on two paired pilasters. Above, a cartouche around which rosettes, ovolo mouldings and triglyphs follow in succession. Inside, Renaissance fireplaces.
