Le parc, dessiné d'abord par l'architecte-paysagiste Eugène Bühler, est repris de 1909 à 1919 par l'architecte-paysagiste Edouard André. Une chapelle est construite de 1903 à 1905 et une deuxième bibliothèque en 1910.

History
The castle and its outbuildings were constructed from 1893 onwards, in a Renaissance style, by the Bordeaux architect Louis Garros and his two sons Jean and Alexandre. The client, Bertrand-Marie-François, Baron de Lassus (1880-1909), chose the site for its view over the Pyrenees. The park, first designed by landscape architect Eugène Bühler, was taken over from 1909 to 1919 by landscape architect Edouard André. A chapel was constructed from 1903 to 1905 and a second library in 1910.
