Comme bornes de limitation entre leur territoire et la Guyenne, les Etats du Languedoc firent ériger ces obélisques de pierre. Sur trois marches de pierre s'élève un socle qui supporte une pyramide à quatre faces, surmontée d'une boule portant une aiguille de fer. A l'occasion du passage en autoroute de la RN 117, la pyramide a été déplacée sur la commune de Noé.

History
As boundary markers between their territory and Guyenne, the States of Languedoc had these stone obelisks erected. On three stone steps rises a base which supports a pyramid with four faces, surmounted by a ball bearing an iron needle. On the occasion of the passage of the RN 117 as a motorway, the pyramid was moved to the commune of Noé.
