L'ensemble du 18e siècle, constitué par l'hôtel de la famille Du Barry, est caractéristique de l'art toulousain. Construit en briques, l'hôtel présente un avant-corps peu saillant avec une porte d'entrée dorique. A l'intérieur, le vestibule comporte une ordonnance ionique en stuc. Le grand salon et la salle de jeu sont ornés de stucs et de peintures. Deux ailes latérales ont été réaménagées ou construites au 19e siècle, en style gothique troubadour. Jean-Baptiste Dubarry fait épouser Jeanne Bécu par son frère Guillaume, lui donnant ainsi le titre de comtesse Du Barry, favorite de Louis XV.

History
The ensemble of the 18th century, constituted by the hôtel of the Du Barry family, is characteristic of Toulousain art. Built in brick, the hôtel presents a slightly projecting avant-corps with a Doric entrance door. Inside, the vestibule has an Ionic arrangement in stucco. The great salon and gaming room are adorned with stucos and paintings. Two lateral wings were refurbished or built in the 19th century, in Troubadour Gothic style. Jean-Baptiste Dubarry arranges for Jeanne Bécu to be married by his brother Guillaume, thus giving her the title of Countess Du Barry, favourite of Louis XV.
