Historique
Construit en 1740, le Moulin-Neuf relevait de la seigneurie de Séguenville. Il est de type tour, tronconique, juché sur une butte. Epais au sol, le mur s'amincit dans la partie supérieure, et la classique brique en mortier de terre est enduite en totalité à l'extérieur. Sur la face nord, opposée aux vents dominants, est la porte d'entrée. Un escalier intérieur suspendu sans rampe d'appui, en poutres de chêne fichées dans la muraille, mène à l'étage où se trouve une paire de meules en silex de 2 mètres de diamètre. Restauré en 1996 et remis en marche périodiquement pour des démonstrations, le moulin a conservé son système d'engrenage, principalement en bois, étroitement logé à l'étage au-dessus de la meule. History
Built in 1740, the Moulin-Neuf was held under the seigneury of Séguenville. It is of truncated cone tower type, perched on a mound. Thick at ground level, the wall thins in the upper part, and the classic brick in earth mortar is rendered entirely on the outside. On the north face, opposite the prevailing winds, is the entrance door. An internal suspended staircase without handrail, in oak beams fixed into the wall, leads to the upper storey where there is a pair of flint millstones 2 metres in diameter. Restored in 1996 and put back into operation periodically for demonstrations, the mill has retained its gear system, principally in wood, tightly housed on the storey above the millstone.
