La fontaine comporte un bassin inférieur à pans coupé, octogonal ; un bassin supérieur, plus petit, circulaire, posé sur un pilier central en pierre. De ce deuxième bassin émerge un ornement en pot-à-feu qui pourrait dater du 17e siècle. Surmonté d'une cloche ornée d'ardoises en écaille, cet ornement est relié au bassin circulaire par quatre volutes en fer forgé entre lesquelles jaillissent de fins jets d'eau.

History
This fountain is said to have been given to the town by Catherine of Coarraze, late 15th early 16th century, but its architecture appears more recent. The fountain comprises a lower basin with cut angles, octagonal; an upper basin, smaller, circular, set on a central stone pillar. From this second basin emerges a finial in pot-à-feu which could date from the 17th century. Surmounted by a bell ornamented with slates in scale pattern, this finial is linked to the circular basin by four wrought-iron volutes between which spurt fine jets of water.
