Une maison-forte est mentionnée à la fin du 14e siècle. La construction du château actuel débute à la fin du 16e siècle. C'est un édifice à trois niveaux sur plan rectangulaire, avec deux tours aux angles opposés et des échauguettes aux deux autres. La tour nord-ouest contenait l'escalier à vis disparu. L'édifice conserve quelques éléments en pierre sculptée : porte d'entrée de la tour nord-ouest, lucarnes des combles, cheminées intérieures. L'intérieur a dû être, en grande partie, transformé au 19e siècle.

History
A strong house is mentioned at the end of the 14th century. Construction of the present castle begins at the end of the 16th century. It is a building at three levels on rectangular plan, with two towers at opposite angles and corner turrets at the two others. The north-west tower contained the spiral staircase now missing. The building retains some elements in sculpted stone: entrance door of the north-west tower, dormers of the roof spaces, interior fireplaces. The interior must have been, in large part, transformed in the 19th century.
